Comic Coloring Tutorial by GinMau

DeviantArt member Ginmau offers a simple tutorial on the process of comic color: flatting, details and lighting techniques are all covered.

Huzeyk Digital Comic Coloring Tutorial

This tutorial over at Huzeyk Blog follows the same process as the Ginmau tutorial above, with some additional work to the highlights, shadows and subtle shades.

Coloring Comics the Steve Hamaker Way

Steve Hamaker, colorist for Jeff Smith’s Bone comics, shows his process for adding color to pencilled pages. There is a series of 4 videos – the first two are setup and explanation, the last two are sped up to show the effects.



How to Color Your Comic like Christwriter
